But the said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the looketh on the heart.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Ah, Sovereign , you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
