so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, andwill call him Immanuel.
And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful;he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
