Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
How great you are, Sovereign ! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Love the your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths.
